The alienation of cultural and recreational facilities, their land, and buildings, as well as the reduction of the area of these facilities, construction of buildings (except for lightweight structures) on these territories, or the expansion of the construction area of existing buildings will be prohibited.
The relevant draft law has been submitted to parliament.
Criminal liability for committing such offenses is being increased.
In addition, the draft law includes "green parks" in the list of protected natural areas.
