December 8 is the day when the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan was adopted

On December 8, 2024, the 32nd anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan will be celebrated. The Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan was adopted on December 8, 1992, and serves as the country's fundamental law, establishing the legal foundations of the state. The Constitution plays a crucial role in determining the system of government, the rights and freedoms of citizens, as well as regulating socio-economic and political relations, and establishing the fundamental principles of the state and society.

Over the course of 32 years, the Constitution has played a key role in the development of Uzbekistan and the building of its state, marking significant steps in social, economic, and political reforms and innovations, as well as in the country's development as a democratic, legal, and social state.
